The pool has been closed since
Friday, May 20. Since that time, we have been testing for the leak we
discovered last year. The pool was losing more than an inch of water daily which
is the equivalent of 3 tons of water every day.
With the help of an expert, we have found three definite leaks and a potential leak from the drain of the pool. Of the three, two were significant and one is an easy repair. The good news is that we are able to close off the two significant leaks, easily repair the other, and still operate the pool once we are ready. If there is a drain issue, it also should be a straightforward repair. If all goes well, we will empty the pool today (Thursday, June 2nd).
Repairs of
the damages inside the pool building will begin as soon as we can empty the
pool.
